Pixelate Images for Privacy or Art

Censor sensitive information like license plates and faces, or create retro 8-bit aesthetic art by adjusting the pixelation size.

Select your photo.

Move the slider to increase the block size until you get the desired effect.

Download the pixelated copy to your computer.

Can I pixelate only faces?

Currently, the effect applies to the entire image uniformly.

Can pixelated text be read?

If you set the block size high enough, text becomes completely illegible and safe to share.

Is this irreversible?

Once you download and share the pixelated image, nobody can undo the pixelation to see the original.
